2 Bedroom Cottage in Castell-Platja d'Aro

This very cozy old farmhouse is situated offroad of the picturesque village of Castell d´aro surrounded by a few other houses. We have renovated this old masia trying to keep all the original features in tact but at the same time making it a comfortable place to stay. The living-room and kitchen are on the ground floor with comfortable sofas, a modern kitchen but at the same time typically old style with its stone walls and former old open fireplace. Upstairs there are two bedrooms one with three single beds and one with a small double bed, two bathrooms one with shower and toilet and the other with bath/shower and toilet. In between the the two bedrooms there is a small open space with airconditioning to cool both bedrooms if necessary.
The appartement is situated on the left side of the house and consists of one bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with shower.
On the right on the house there is a beautiful overflowing pool, reached by a stone stairway. The pool overflows into a basin so it sounds like a small waterfall when you are sitting on the terrace below.
The terrace in front of the house is idyllic with a covered pergola with a large dining table for those hot summer days and long summer evenings.
Our cottage is especially suited for people who appreciate properties that kept their original state but at the same time comfortable. With air-condition in the living room and kitchen. Just 10 minutes away from beaches and busy Platja D´Aro and walking distance from the village of Castell d´aro with a supermarket, baker, restaurants and a butcher.
